Codey was born in Wurtzburg, Germany in April of 1962, where his father was stationed in the military. After returning to America at the age of four, he grew up at Bristol, Tennessee, and graduated from Tennessee High School. Codey has been singing a variety of different styles of music all his life. At the advice of certain musicians Codey has come in contact with over the years, he decided to take his unique and original voice and become part of the world of country music. Codey is very proud of his country roots and believes he has a lot to offer country fans. While singing and performing is always number one on Codey's list of things he enjoys, he also likes swimming, staying fit, hot rodding, and various other activities. Codey has been happily married for ten years and has two step children, a boy 13 years of age and an 11 year old girl. He also has a teenage son that is 17. Codey is a down-to-earth person who truly believes that music is all about the fans and will always strive to be a true artist.
