Treat your country music audiences to a refreshing new sound: a five-piece country band that not only sounds like a five-piece country band, but a five-piece country band with a twist. The twist - a harmonica. Okay, in the scheme of things a harmonica isn't anything new. In the hands of Dave Clark however, it is something pretty darn exciting. In fact, he's been winning harmonica contests in Indiana and Ohio since the 1980's. While many players can hit all the right notes, Dave makes music. Dave Clark and the D.C. Express Band have been leaving Midwest audiences screaming "encore" for well over a decade. From their classical rendition of "Your Cheatin' Heart" to breathing new musical insight into "Honky Tonk Blues," the guys have performed for country music lovers at large and small venues alike, at home whether playing fairs, festivals, or corporate trade shows.

Their single called "Dave Clark" released on the Sweetwater Sound label is a big seller at local engagements. It's hard to imagine Dave feels he owes his career in the music business to a nameless hobo. But as a youngster, he used to spend a lot of time playing near the B&O Railroad yard near his home in Garrett, Indiana. What boy can resist the allure of a train? It's power, it's mighty whistle, the clackity-clack of the locomotive as it chugs its way down the line. Yet, had it not been for an old hobo he heard playing a harmonica down by the tracks - the sound struck a chord inside him he couldn't shake - he might not have had the desire to learn to play or the inspiration to express emotions we all feel through his performance.

His new album "Country Revival," is getting airplay all over Europe and Australia and is receiving much praise from fans and in the D.J. playlist reports.
