Hello, My name is Di Anne. I have been singing my entire life, beginning in church as a child. Entertaining is what I do for a living, so I take it very seriously. I was born in Poplarville, Mississippi and was raised in Picayune, Mississippi. I have always been and will always be a Country Music fan, but I still like most of the "Old Time Rock and Roll" music. I also believe Elvis is still the King! My dream has always been to be known as a Country Music entertainer, so I put forth the time and effort necessary to make my dream a reality. I prefer performing Traditional Country Music and original songs, but I also try to keep up to date with the some of the newer Country Music as it is released. This way I can please crowds of any age. I have performed at benefits, clubs, parties, bars, lounges, weddings, rodeos and for private organizations. I have performed in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Georgia, Florida and also in Nashville, Tennessee, including performances preceding Bryan White and Mark Chestnutt at the 83rd Washington Parish Free Fair and also LeAnn Rimes and Sawyer Brown at the 1st Annual Country Music Festival at the Southern Festival Grounds south of Picayune, MS. I have been interviewed and have performed live on the WBOX radio station in Bogalusa, Louisiana and on the other radio stations in Mississippi where I was a featured artist on their Opry show. I have also been interviewed by stations in the Nashville area. I also perform monthly for our Disabled Veterans from the VA Center in Biloxi and Gulfport, Mississippi and yearly for the handicapped individuals at Picayune Industries. I also perform occasionally for the seniors at different retirement homes in our area as our schedules allow. I have been to Nashville and have made a promotional video through the Independent Label Association, Inc. I have signed a songwriters contract with Mohawk Skywalker Publishing/BMI and I am now in the process of recording more original songs. My last release entitled "Are You An Angel" won the Airplay International King Eagle, Year 2000, Country Album Of The Year award. I also attended the LSSCMA awards show in Beaumont, Texas and was presented with the "Most Promising Female Traditional Country Artist" award, the Best Of Texas, Year 2000 "Traditional Country Music Female Vocalist" and "Traditional Country Female Entertainer". Another I received was the "International Star, Year 2000, Country Female Artist Of The Year, Gold Cup" award and I was also nominated for the King Eagle "Silver Artistic Trail Blazer" award by Airplay International.

With the classic country affection of Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, Di Anne pulls at your heart strings with her soulful, mournful vocals. The music has that great classic country sound that is now sidelined by big money pop hooks and insincerity. This is music with a lot of feeling and passion. Di Anne has that great vocal style that leaves you feeling lonely and sad, but with the impression that you're never alone. Music that has the ability to present that sort of feeling is definitely Grade A product in my book. This two song demo brings it down home with a couple of great cuts. 'Are You An Angel' and 'Emitt Lee' are unmistakably two great country tracks that will have you feeling the power of Di Anna's passionate voice.
