Le Ann was born in Logansport, Indiania, and grew up to love all types of music. She is following in the footsteps of her family. Her father and his brothers performed gospel music for years, and her great-grandfather played clarinet in Chicago. Le Ann first took serious interest in her music at bible school and church, then the school band and chorus. She has performed for Chicago radio and traveled throughout the Midwest, performing in Kansas, Nebraska, Tennessee, Iowa, Indiana and Illinois for fairs, Legion Halls, weddings, and resorts. Le Ann claims that nursing homes carry some of her most precious memories. "When I brought tears of joy to those loving people's eyes, it brought a smile and tears of joy to my heart.
