Joy Potillo began singing as a child along with her mom with the William's Family, directed by her grandfather. While attending school and college on the West Coast Joy and friends began singing at numerous churches, fairs, civic events, and college concerts. The group toured sang and played a variety of contemporary, rock, jazz, and showtunes, before she left the group to move south with her family, to manage a family-owned music store business. Joy enjoys singing, writing & playing a variety of music, from blues to bluegrass, commercial jingles to voices-overs. However, country and gospel music are her favorites, and she has won several music awards. Joy was honored to receive an International Music Award for writing and singing, "Yes I Know There's A God Somewhere," an Airplay International King Eagle Silversongwriter Award for "If Your Heart Could Talk," and recently she placed on the Top 40 Southern Gospel Charts with, "Nothing But The Blood" (which she performed recently at the Christian Country Awards Convention & Show.)
