Bethany is more than an "up-and-coming" country music artist. She has a unique style that cannot be compared to any other. Bethany is not a "clone" of any other country artist. She is the answer to the newness country music so badly needs today. Bethany's first public performance was at age three when she sang in church. Her next public performance was at the age of six when she competed in her hometown's Little Miss Blueberry Pagent, where she won 2nd place. Bethany has the quality in her singing to make the audience laugh when singing songs like "You Broke My Heart, So I Wrecked Your Car," (which Bethany co-wrote.) Bethany can bring tears to even the strongest of heart when she sings love songs and ballads. Bethany has also been known to bring out chills in her audience, and bring them to their feet in standing ovation when she sings gospel songs. Even grown-ups cry as the Holy Spirit touches their hearts through Bethany's singing. Bethany started singing professionally at local small town festivals, and county & state fairs. Bethany also sang at her high school assemblies and athletic events. Bethany was chosen by audition to represent her state in country music at The World Championships OF Performing Arts, held in Los Angeles, California. A field of 1000 contestants from 30 countries was narrowed down to 58...then 27...where Bethany was awarded the BRONZE MEDAL! Bethany was awestruck with emotion as she sang at the opening and closing ceremonies for the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Moving Wall, when it visted her hometown. Bethany attracts fans of all ages. She has a voice that everyone falls in love with. In 1998, Bethany was awarded the International Country Music Association's International Star Of Tomorrow Award, presented to her by AirPlay International.
