The Nashville Music Festival (May 26 through May 28) is custom designed to allow unknown singers and songwriters to meet people and create connections within the Nashville music industry. If you understand that who you know is at least as important as what you know, this is the one event you can not afford to miss. Limited space does not allow us to mention all the highlights of this wonderful event. There will be several stages and all stages will have open microphones. If you want to show the Nashville music industry what you have to offer, this is the one event you can not afford to miss.

A lot of unsigned artists have paid thousands of dollars to do a showcase in Nashville that nobody came to see. Imagine you are an executive for one of the major labels. You are making your $100, 000 plus yearly salary. You are flying to Los Angeles and New York. You are putting in 16 hour days. Would you take time away from your family to see one unknown singer, at some small club? Would an invitation offering some free beer and chicken wings get your attention? Of course; not! Now, imagine  you are the same executive. You hear about the Nashville Music Festival. You hear that hundreds of unsigned singers will be on stage, during a three day music festival. You know you can go to one place and see hundreds of best unsigned singers, in the world. Would you be there? If you are an unsigned singer looking for a record deal, can you afford not to be there? If you are a talented but unknown songwriter wanting your songs recorded by one of tomorrow's stars, can you afford to not be there? If you are a record producer looking for a great singer, can you afford to not be there? If you are a publisher looking for great songs, can you afford to not be there?

For more details about this wonderful event, visit our web site. Go to www.radiocountry.org and click on the Nashville Music Festival banner, or email the event director at c4promo@aol.com or call 615-252-8202. Numerous country and gospel music associations around the world have joined us, in endorsing this first annual, Nashville Music Festival. We consider this to be the most important independent music event of the decade!

Hank Swennson is a legend in European Country Music. He is the president of the Nordic Country Music Organization. He operates the only full time country music radio station in Northern Europe. Most European stations broadcast a variety of music styles. Hank's radio station is all country, all the time. Cherokee Mangus director of the Nashville Native American Dance Troop will bring her dance troop to the Nashville Music Festival. Be sure to catch all of the Native American entertainers and bring your cameras. The Native American stage is being directed by Storm Seymour. Storm has been nominated for a NAMA award, by the Native American Music Association. He is the most highly honored Native American entertainer in the world. Storm and his band, White Swan have too many awards to list in this limited space. When we asked him which award he was most proud of he said, "All the awards that we have received for our music are deeply appreciated, but the one that brings a lump to my throat every time I look at it is The Kitty Wells/Johnny Wright Humanatarian Award. We received it for our charity concerts and helping people in need is what we are most proud of, in our career."  Several other popular Native American entertainers will be attending the the festival. Space does not allow us to list them all. However; we do want to mention Quan-Ti-Si. Her show band is made up entirely of Native American musicians, from several Tribal Nations. Bring your video cameras, you'll want to record this.

Native American craftsmen are being encouraged to set up shop to display and sell their handcrafted jewelry, pipes, and other items. The most read Native American publication, "Indian Country Today" has ran an article on the festival and we've been told the festival might become a minature inter-tribal pow-wow. Wouldn't that be great! It's about time all the tribes of man got together!

Doug Deramus of the International Country Gospel Music Association and country gospel music star, Judy Deramus will attend the Nashville Music Festival. Be sure to catch one of Judy's performances.

The Willie Harris Singers have won Top Gospel Group numerous times at a variety of awards shows. They have performed in Las Vegas, Nashville, Chicago, and too many other cities too mention. They will appear at the Nashville Music Festival. Their manager, Vincent Chappelle expects to bring several other gospel groups to appear on his Chicago Gospel Review.
