Retirement Center Booking Talent Independent Artists Welcome

Prairie Village retirement community in Rantoul, IL.  The entertainment coordinator says packages are very slow coming in from singers.  If she can't get enough people to want to entertain she may be forced to use local talent.  What a shame. $100 plus a room plus 3 meals is great compensation for some artists to do a 45 minute show. She is working with 4 different radio stations in IL to help promote the artists doing these shows.

Interested singers may send their packages to Retirement Community, C/O GraceLand Entertainment Booking, PO Box 290123, Nashville, TN 37229. GraceLand is doing this as a community service. They will forward your package to the entertainment director without charging you a fee.

Comments About Past Festivals

"Wow! What a wonderful weekend! Thanks for organizing a truly kick a- - event."
Vanessa Spurlock, Chicago, IL

"I've been trying to describe your event to friends. The stages, the seminars, the many many wonderful music industry connections we made, the after hours jam sessions in the hotel lobby, the way four days just flew by, but I guess they have to experience it to believe it. A one word description is COOOOOL."
Rebecca Joshi, Anchorage, AK

"We had a fascinating weekend. My son's band is talking to Interscope Records. Just being considered by the world's largest rock label is a serious accomplishment. They're talking to two other bands from your festival. Win, lose, or draw we'll be back next time."
Robert Duke, Burlington, NC

"My wife and I have been at all three festivals. Every year we learn new ways to increase my bookings and make new friends in the business. We'll be back, in 2004."
Wallie Taswell, Phoenix, AZ

"If you ever stop doing these events, I'll hunt you down and beat you like a dirty rug! Walk, run, swim, or crawl I'll be there next time!"
James Bailey, Birmingham, AL
