Juanita Atkerson lives on a ranch in the Piney Woods of deep East Texas. She has written over one hundred Country and Gospel songs. She also writes short stories. She is the winner of a 1999 Airplay International (King Eagle Awards-Nashville) Songwriter Award Of Merit and in 2001 she won the Horizon Award.
