Bryan Cady "They Keep Coming On"
RealAudio
Bryan Cady's interest in country music began with a 6 year old boy's infatuation with Dolly Parton, who had a television show at the time. He could hardly wait to hear her sing as she came down on her swing at the start of every show. Some time around the age of 8, Bryan's interests turned to Elvis Presley. This led to his first public performance of "Blue Suede Shoes" atop of a table in the fourth grade cafeteria! As he grew, so did his taste in music, but Bryan eventually came back to his country roots during high school. It was during this time that he received his first guitar as a gift from his parents on
Christmas day 1992, and it was then that Bryan knew that music was his calling. Throughout his High School career, Bryan immersed himself within the Band program, learning as much as he could about all kinds of music. His studies and dedication paid off when in 1994, he received a talent scholarship to the College of Saint Rose. While there he studied within the colleges music education program as an instrumentalist. While pursuing his degree, Bryan had the opportunity to record his first co-written original song at St. Roses own Saints and Sinners Recording Studio in 1996. He also had the opportunity to record horn tracks, and background vocals for the Albany based rhythm and blues band Hard to Handle. While playing trombone and singing with Hard to Handle, Bryan was able to sample the various venues of Albany's clubs and festivals.
