Larry Neil's CD    Larry Neil

Larry Neil grew up in West Texas. He started writing songs when he was fourteen. He wanted to be a Rock-and-Roll star, so he moved to Hollywood when he was nineteen. He was immediately signed to a recording contract, and one of his songs, "I Want To Hold Her," was soon released as a single on Trident Records. Everyone kept telling Larry that he should be singing Country music because most of what he wrote and sang had a Country flavor. Now that Country music has broadened it's spectrum, his music fits right in. Today, Larry lives in South Carolina and travels to Nashville to record. He has written several hundred songs. Many have been recorded by other artists as well as himself. He has recorded two albums with KMA Records. Both albums were received very well and have been played on radio stations in the USA, Canada, Australia, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, and other European countries. He has been nominated and won awards from the independent music industry for his writing, singing, and all-around talent. His music has been described in the Country music magazines as "traditional Country with ear-grabbing hooks that will keep your attention from the first cut to the last." Larry currently performs locally and occasionally showcases in Nashville.
